Set of Four English Painted Pine Chairs
-
Description
These English painted pine dining chairs – with vague Gustavian references – feature straight, slatted backs held with squared handrails and stiles. Well-patinated, the layers of gold and sienna pigment are still visible on the seat backs but the flat seats expose the raw wood grain. Restrained in ornamentation except for fluted carvings in the slats and foot where the stile intersects the seat. Please view the detailed images. Sold as a set of four. Seat height: 17 ⅞”
