1960s Sven Ellekær leather & rosewood armchair for Coja

Description
There remains a bit of confusion about the mid-century Coja pieces in the market - sometimes attributed to Dane Sven Ellekær (1926-1984) or to the celebrated Swede Arne Norell (1917-1971) - and occasionally to both. The Coja pieces have a more relaxed construction with a beautiful rosewood frame and black buttoned leather that folds over the seat back. Classic Norell weaving of leather supports along the base. Probably an Ellekær design from late 1960s and likely produced in the Netherlands by Coja Culemborg. Pair available, sold separately.
