The antique Swedish Gustavian style swivel chair with historic white paint is a chair that was made in Sweden circa 1830s. The chair has a working swivel mechanism that allows it to rotate. The white paint finish has aged over time, giving it an honest patina. The chair has been recently reupholstered with linen fabric, and small nilheads. Overall, this chair is a beautiful example of Swedish furniture from the early 19th century, with a timeless design that still looks elegant today. Believed to be the original paint shows distressed wear consistent with age. Seat depth 18"
