George 111 Period , Chinese Chippendale Pair of Green Painted Faux Bamboo Chairs

Sold Sold
  • Description
A Fine and Rare pair of English Eighteenth Century ,Chinese Chippendale Cockpen chairs , very much in the style of the usually plain mahogany Scottish Cockpen manner.

More than likely these chairs would have been an individuals private commission , the luscious green paint chosen to match a room and fabrics .

After intense and long winded scraping these two chairs have been dry scraped back to the original brilliant green paint .

    English 1775
