Description
Absolute exceptional, early 20th century dining suite/ salon suite by Thonet from the Art Nouveau period in Austria around 1910. Attributed to the famous Austrian architect and designer Otto Wagner, this beechwood suite consists of four fantastic designed chairs, all newly upholstered in fine crème colored leather, and a beautiful round table. The glossy black lacquered table plate sits on a wonderfully shaped column showing an amazing looking, unusual "half rod" design in the upper part. The artfully crafted hammer-finished brass base completes the incredible look of this one of a kind Thonet bentwood dining suite/ salon suite. This is a perfect example of how still timeless these renowed designs of Otto Wagner are.
