Description
A set of four very rare chairs in pine by Torsten Claeson, Sweden.
The chair was presented in 1939 at the Röhsska Museum as "sports cottage furniture" a type of furniture that became popular in that time, typically made of solid pine with a robust feeling.
The chairs are very well constructed with excellent craftsmanship in every detail. The proportions are well balanced and give an elegant expression together with the organic shapes.
Condition: The chairs have been professionally reglued on the legs and backrests fixtures. The surface is original with a beautiful patina.
A matching stool is also available. -
