Description
Typical English Balloon Back Chair used for the parlor, a lady's desk, or in the boudoire at a dressing table in mid-Victorian England. It has the round, or balloon shaped back; cabriole front legs with splayed rear legs; and a small crest to the bottom of the back lower rail.
It has been re-upholstered in gold fabric; the surface of the chair is in very good condition with all original finish and a lovely mellow patina to the mahogany..
