Vico Magistretti designed this lounge chair and ottoman for Cassina as part of his Maralunga Series in 1973. In 1979, the series won Italy's Compasso D'Oro award for Industrial Design.

The extraordinarily comfortable armchair features a movable backrest that measures 39.4 in. high when extended into high position. The ottoman measures 34.6 in. W x 23.6 in. D x 17.7 in. H.

A corresponding Maralunga series two-seat sofa is also available.
