    Six rattan and bamboo high-backed chairs, made by Bonacina in Italy around 1960.
    In perfect condition.

    Giovanni Bonacina began his activity in 1889 in Lurago d'Erba, north of Milan, combining two traditional trades, basketry and furniture making. His son Vittorio took over the company in the early 1950s and adapted brilliantly to the design revolution. He worked with great designers, notably Franco Albini, with whom he obtained a gold medal in 1951 for the "Margherita" armchair.
