A rare and unusual revolving navigator's seat by Warren McArthur (Model 364) designed in 1947 for the Grumman Aircraft Co.'s XJR2F known as the Albatross. This would make an interesting desk chair.
The seat is in excellent working condition with wear consistent with its age and use. -

Documentation: Signed Origin: United States Period: 1920-1949 Materials: Upholstery. Condition: Excellent. The seat's circular base has four drill holes that could easily serve as fasten points for casters or wheels. The chair was rehabbed for the Navy in the 1960's. Wear consistent with age and use.
