The Grumman Albatross SA-16 was developed as an amphibious seaplane specifically designed for search and rescue.

The base for this stool is is a two tiered disc combination of black industrial plastic mounted on a black enameled steel disc. The frame of the navigational stool is rmounted on four steel pipes to bring the seat height of 27".
