White Art Nouveau Armchair by Marcel Kammerer, Early 20th Century, AT ca. 1908
-
Description
Rare, early 20th century armchair designed by the famous Austrian architect Marcel Kammerer (1878 -1959) around 1908 in Austria. The timeless design of this iconic Art Nouveau armchair was way ahead of its time. In this case we decided to just clean the surface of the frame to keep its incredible used charm. The seating surface as well as the backrest has been reupholstered with an amazing looking, extraordinary patterned Art Nouveau fabric in black, grey and yellow tones, made by the renowed company of Backhausen. A truly outstanding seating piece from the Vienna secession which fits contemporary/ modern as well as traditional interior designs. This beautiful armchair by Marcel Kammerer doesn´t only look fantastic, it is also very comfortable to seat in.
