Description
Beautiful, old restored Biedermeier nutwood vitrine cabinet, elaborately handcrafted in the famous period around 1840 in Austria. The solid spruce body shows an amazing looking thick veneered cherrywood surface with beautiful grain. Standing on straight shaped "stamp" legs - typical for this era - the glazed two-door front impresses with a so-called "pretzel" design, which confers this antique Biedermeier vitrine cabinet a really unique and charming appearance. This antique Biedermeier cabinet offers a lot of storage space, whereby the inside (showing an old wallpaper covering) is divided into four compartments. An additional shelf comes with this vitrine cabinet, so you can split the large top compartment once again. The still original lock is fully functionable and adorned by two artfully shaped brass keyblades. An fantastic piece of a 19th century Biedermeier display cabinet coming in good old restored condition. It could also be easily fully dismantled to save a lot of shipping costs.
