Impressive 19th century Biedermeier nutwood trumeau commode from the period around 1840 in Austria. Veneered with extraordinary selected nutwood, this remarkable Biedermeier commode shows an absolute amazing looking mirrormatched grain that "runs" down from the top to the bottom without any interruption. A real masterpiece which looks more like an artful sculpture than a simple dresser due its extraordinary set veneer. Featuring one drawer, adorned by lovely brass applications, this remarkable Austrian Trumeau commode offers much storage space with two compartments behind the large, lockable double door. A traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the outstanding grain and finalizes the incredible appearance. A one of a kind 19th century Biedermeier dresser/ commode that will definitley catches everyone´s eye.
