Remarkable 19th century Biedermeier walnut cabinet/ bookcase/ vitrine coming from the early period in Austria around 1835. Elaborately veneered in finest burr walnut the glossy surface shows an absolutel amazing grain. The front of this exceptional Biedermeier cabinet features two doors whereby both doors still keep the original mouthblown glass panels. The insides of the doors surprise with an exceptional looking so-called "counter veneered" surface made with fine ash wood. Inside this beautiful Biedermeier cabinet you have four compartments providing much space for your books, valuable tableware or other things. The three shelves can easily be adjusted to exactly fit your needs. At the top of this extraordinary Biedermeier cabinet you have an additional pratical and also lockable drawer. All locks are still the original and are in good working condition. The amazing looking surface shows a traditional hand polished shellac finish which enhances the gorgeous grain of the walnut veneer. A great sized 19th century Biedermeier cabinet/ vitrine/ bookcase coming in great restored condition. Cabinets with such dimensions are perfect because they also fit nicely even in smaller rooms. Storage pieces like this in such outstanding condition are really not easy to get nowadays.
