Remarkable 20th century Art Nouveau cabinet or buffet from the period in Austria around 1900. Designed and produced by the famous art furniture factory of August Ungethüm (signed) in Vienna, the fine mahogany buffet stands out with an absolute unique design. The upper part impresses with its amazing looking, delicate copper inlays and hosts a compartment with two doors showing twenty-four small faceted glass windows. The open middle section with a facet cut mirror in the back still holds the original black marble plate which is in a very good condition. Underneath you find a large drawer with gorgeous crafted copper fittings. The lower and also largest part offers a lot of space divided into three compartments, hidden behind two very artfully created doors with darker mahogany fields adorned by outstanding, elaborate created copper inlays. A real masterpiece of Art Nouveau furniture coming in great restored condition.
