Arne Vodder Sideboard for Sibast Møbler in Rosewood and Metal, Denmark, 1960s
-
Description
Sideboard with tambours doors by Arne Vodder for Sibast Møbler, recognizable by its simplicity. The design is modern and minimal yet very distinct. The latter is partly due to the round feet consisting of half wood and half metal. The rosewood has beautiful dark flames and is in excellent condition, especially the top which is as new and has no discoloration at all.
Note. We would like to point out that this sideboard is made of a unique type of wood (rosewood, (dalbergia)) with beautiful properties, but nowadays highly protected. Fortunately, we are talking about an older piece of furniture, made in a period when this type of wood was not yet protected. We will therefor arrange the necessary documents for you, required for international transport (CITES) and this will take normally about 5 to 6 weeks. We tell you this in advance, because we would like to set the right expectations concerning dates of arrival. In short, we will deliver this unique piece neatly and legal, as it should be, but it will take some time. It’s worth it! -
