Description
Exquisite Scandinavian rosewood bar cabinet designed by Børge Mogensen and handcrafted by master cabinetmakers P. Lauritsen & Søn, Denmark c 1956. This rare, handcrafted cabinet showcases meticulous attention to detail with its fine joinery and perfectly aligned brass hardware. Made with the finest selection of Brazilian rosewood with book-matched graining on the locking doors with recessed brass keyholes. The doors open to reveal an interior with shelves, two locking drawers, a bar with etched mirror back, interior light, and black-glass shelves above a pull-out service tray. Additional interior drawer with dividers handcrafted entirely of solid Brazilian rosewood. The cabinet was acquired in excellent condition, and has been lightly restored in a natural oil to bring out the dynamic wood tones. Excellent condition and built to last generations.
