Description
Marvelous Biedermeier cabinet bookcase from the Biedermeier era, circa 1830 in Austria. Veneered in beautiful burr walnut and fine nut wood this slender antique cabinet features two doors with large glass panels which are additionally adorned by ebonized hand carved wooden applications. Please note the panels are still the original mouth blown ones from 1830. Inside you will find a big compartment divided by five shelves, providing enough space for your books or tableware. (The shelves can be easily adjusted to your needs) The top of this cabinet was ebonized and the whole surface was sealed by a Classic hand polished shellac finish. A real fantastic masterpiece of Biedermeier craftsmanship from the early 19th century that would fit even to smaller rooms due its practical thin architecture. (Depth is just 15 inch).
