Mid-Century Modern Dresser and Stool in Hardwood, by Carlo Hauner, Brazil
-
Description
This set comes with a stool and a dresser that has a mirror, four drawers, and one cabinet. The light in the dresser has been rewired and works perfectly. The set is made with Brazilian hardwood and it has a beautiful color and pattern to it. The wood has also been refinished and is now in excellent condition. This set could fit in any styled environment and would be a perfect addition to any bedroom.
The dresser is part of a room set consisting of a bench, double bed with headrest and a wall module as is showcased in one of the images (pieces are sold separately). We purchased this set from a house in Teresopolis, a known Modernist city two hours away from the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The piece has all the elements of Carlo Hauner work during the fifties: abundant use of rosewood, brass finishes and slim structure. The Manufacturing seal is in the back of the piece.
