The vase shape of this chest of drawers is very peculiar, ending with two small cylinders expertly inlaid with “leaflets” and underlined by grooves. The precious woods of walnut and briar alternate forming bands that characterize each side. The front is a true compositional jewel, a witness to the mastery of workmanship and the naturalistic virtues of the art of inlay. The openable lid, with the mirror embedded in it, has a writing desk interior with various elements composed in amazing harmony. A secret compartment is inserted.
