Description
Very good early 19th century Bavarian painted cabinet or armoire in original painted finish, including rocaille, faux marble and grain painting, the arched crest over initials and date "1808", the canted corners with money-penny and diamond carving, the arched doors having raised panels with shell and waterfall carving, and standing on original turned bun feet. Two-part construction with interior fitted half for hanging and half for shelves.
