Elizabeth Garouste was born in Paris, France in 1949. After her interior design studies at the Camondo School in Paris she created theater sets for Jean-Michel Ribes before turning to design, which clearly informed sensibility.
Matti Bonetti was born in 1952, he is a Paris-based artist and designer. His work has been called whimsical, surreal and unique. Consistently merging the boundaries between art and design. In the 1970's Bonetti met the designer Elizabeth Garouste, and their partnership began with the interior decor of the famous Parisian nightclub Le Palace. The pair set the pace for cutting edge Parisian design, creating a unique and inventive Neo-Baroque language that was to become synonymous with the most sophisticated continental contemporary interior and furniture design.
Etagere measures 71" tall, 18" wide 17" deep. 5 glass shelves that measure 16.75" wide and 14.75" deep. -
