English 19th Century Painted Pine Chest of Drawers
-
Description
A 19th century painted pine chest of drawers from England. The top has a molded edge, following down to simple sides and two over three drawers on top of squared base. Simple brass escutcheon plates are shield shaped. No key is present, but the drawers open easily with gorgeously patinated hand turned pine pulls that are a lovely contrast to the natural colored original paint on the rest of the chest supported on hand turned feet. This functional little chest has a real elegance and good quality construction. Be sure to view the detailed images for a better look.
