Small French-made sideboard from the late 1950s/early 1960s. The sideboard was part of a pair of pieces in rosewood with details in oxidized brass, made for a dining room in a Parisian home. The two pieces of furniture had the same size and shape, but were subdivided differently, as they were originally placed in different areas of the room for which they were made, but not symmetrically.
The item is in good condition: the surface has been entirely restored in our workshop. The most difficult job was to eliminate the black varnish of the wood in the opening of the handle, that had been applied for no apparent reason.
