French Fruitwood Buffet Deux Corps

A gorgeous antique solid fruitwood buffet deux corps, made in the Louis Philippe style, from 1870s France. The buffet is composed of two bodies: an upper and lower. The upper body with handsome crown molding is outfitted with two removable shelves inside that measure 13” deep. The linear panel doors contain a working lock and key and feature simple brass escutcheons. The lower body is slightly deeper and has an interior cavity with a single removable shelf that measures 15 ¾” deep. The cabinet can be secured with its functioning lock and key. This elegant Louis Philippe style case piece will provide bountiful storage and beauty to any room it graces.
