Description
A charming solid walnut buffet hand-crafted in France at the beginning of the reign of Louis Philippe duc d’Orléans, circa 1830. A gorgeously patinated plank top with a molded edge sits over a long shaped frieze drawer with a trimmed wooden pull and two paneled doors fixed with an oval brass escutcheon plate with beaded surround. One key is present and remains in the lock for ease of use. The two doors open to a single storage cavity with one removable shelf with a depth of 19 ⅜”. Raised on block feet this buffet is tall, sturdy, and built for longevity. Its timeless style would work well with almost any interior. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the great patina and wonderful craftsmanship of this handsome buffet.
