Gabriella Crespi (1922-2017) was an Italian artist and furniture designer. Deeply influenced by the design philosophies of Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, she dedicated herself, starting in the 1950s, to creating furniture and other objects that perfectly balance aesthetics and sculptural abstraction. Crespi's innovative ideas, characterized by articulated forms that meet the needs of contemporary design and her remarkable ability to transform objects through openings, closings, and changes in functionality, quickly earned her international acclaim.
