Description
Italian Painted Low Cabinet
19th century Italian low cupboard, decorated with polychrome geometric plant motifs.
Its decoration is repeated throughout the piece of furniture in a reticulated manner and is hand-painted in orange and blue on a white background that covers a stucco base.
The structure of the furniture is very solid and is made of oak wood.
The front of the wardrobe has two lockable doors. Inside it has two large shelves that divide the space into three levels.
The top is finished with a moulding simulating a cornice. The piece of furniture rests on four short square legs that rise from a plinth.
It is a very decorative piece. The wear and patina of its paint not only gives us a clue to its age, but also gives it a special charm.
