Description
An Italian neoclassical style painted wood corner cabinet from the 19th century, with marbleized polychrome décor, single door, pilasters, gilded rosettes and rustic character. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this corner cabinet charms us with its Neoclassical style lines and polychrome décor. The cabinet features a semi-circular faux marble top sitting above a Classical façade. A single door, flanked with Doric inspired pilasters, is adorned with a marbleized painted finish accented with gilded rosettes placed in the corners of a red veined panel. This door opens to reveal a small interior. The ensemble is raised on a semi-circular plinth echoing the top. The back is made of simple planks and is, of course, unfinished. With its Neoclassical lines, beautifully painted décor and great rustic character, this Italian corner cabinet from the 19th Century will bring a touch of color and be a great problem solver in any home, placed in a living room or entryway.
