LOUIS XIV COMMODE MAZARINE
Early 18th century commode veneered in pear wood with walnut inlay, the top with geometric inlay the sides with stars within rectangles. The shaped front with three long drawers over a shaped apron standing on bracket feet. Bronze handles and escutcheons gilt and incised and retaining the original mercury gilding.
Probably Grenoble in the French Alps circa 1705 - 1715.
