Louis XV Style, Refinished Block Front Commode or Chest of Drawers, Kingwood Inlay, Bronze, France, 19th C.
A French commode or chest from the late 19th to early 20th century, featuring a three-over-two drawer configuration. This exquisite piece showcases intricate all-over parquetry inlay and is adorned with ormolu bronze mounts, complemented by elegant full shoe claw feet. The commode is further distinguished by its gracefully shaped block front, which leads to a pair of finely designed side panels. The entire piece is crowned by a beautifully veined, multi-colored marble top. Reminiscent of the workshops of Francois Linke. Fully refinished to its original form.
