French Louis XV style lacquered commode, Maison Jansen attributed.
This outstanding French black lacquer six drawer commode or chest is heavily inlaid and trimmed with gilt bronze in a geometric pattern with paw feet. This stunning expertly crafted commode is signed C. Cheze, an artisan we understand designed for Maison Jansen in the 1950s and 1960s.
