Paolo Buffa rosewood sycamore and brass chest of drawers 1940s
-
Description
This beautiful chest of drawers designed by Paolo Buffa in Italy in the 1940s imparts a cosy, chic and glowing mood to a space. The warm rosewood remains looking beautiful and smooth eighty plus years later. Elegantly shaped, seating on two curved feet, this commode features three large drawers, and three smaller ones, with sycamore wood framing and brass handles. The piece feels delightfully modern for the Art Deco era, and charmingly vintage now. It is a very fine example of high-quality Italian design and craftsmanship by Paolo Buffa, with a beautiful construction and finish. It has been fully restored and revarnished, and is found in a great vintage condition.
