William "Billy" Haines style, dark walnut hand rubbed, and off white lacquered bureau, cabinet angled design middle is shorter depth than ends and center door is lacquered leather, with brass metal covered legs that are offset, back legs out to side, front legs in about 12" 1950s.

Working closely with architects including James E. Dolena, Roland E. Coate and A. Quincy Jones, Haines transformed the look of Hollywood. His sophisticated emphasis on balance between formal and casual and style and substance marked a departure from a previous design ethos that focused on flamboyance and opulence.
