Superb 19th century marine chest in camphor wood.
Very beautiful campaign chests which can be used as sofa endtables or bedside table by its small size. It is rare to find a chest of this size
superb brass decorations on the top which is a sign of its fine quality and provenance
British navy chest with its typical irons of this style of furniture and its carrying handles on the side
The chests are made of camphor wood. This wood was used at the time since the camphor tree is resistant to woodworms and has a good smell and a nice veneer
Superb patina and in perfect condition
