Description
Unique, one-of-a-kind, two-door cabinet in exotic hardwood with solid cast brass bamboo frame, and black glass work-surface top, designed as a livingroom bar for the Kandell Penthouse apartment at the original Ritz Carlton on Park Ave. South.

This 1953 Robsjohn-Gibbings commission by the buildings owners, for their personal residence, included custom interiors with bespoke furniture designs for all rooms. The last photo, an interior still of the apartment, shows the cabinet in situ to. Finished on back. Retains original brass key.
