Rare Art Nouveau bentwood étagère made by the famous company of Thonet, the epitome of bentwood furniture, circa 1905 in Vienna or Austria. This large Art Nouveau étagère made of fine bentwood, shows an artfully design and was trimmed to a dark mahogany look. It provides four shelves (the distance between the shelves is 14.2"), all newly upholstered with green felt during the restoration process and impresses with a very unique shape. A great early 20th century bentwood étagère from Thonet, marked on the bottom of each shelf.
