Secondary Wood: Yellow Pine Seatboard and Back
Height: 8 feet 3 inches

Provenance: According to a family journal, John Tantum purchased 240 acres in Nottingham Township in Burlington County New Jersey in 1699 and built a house which was standing until 1909, the year the journal was written. The clock was probably made for John's relation, Joseph Tantum who was alive in 1774. The family was a member of the “Friends Society.”
