We are pleased to present this beautiful and significant antique round dining table, crafted from solid walnut in the mid-19th century. This exquisite piece is a product of the skilled Italian cabinetmakers of the Louis Philippe era, showcasing all the distinctive characteristics of style and decoration from that period.

This dining table is designed to be both functional and elegant, extending in the center to accommodate a larger gathering. The impressive central leg, finely turned and adorned with intricate carvings of fruit and leaves, is supported by four sturdy feet, ensuring stability and style. When fully extended, two small turned legs on each side descend to enhance the table's stability.

Please note that the original tops for the center of the table, which are necessary when the table is extended, are currently missing. However, we can create custom center tops in our carpentry workshop upon request from the customer prior to purchase. The tabletop is presented in raw wood, giving it a rustic appearance that suits country or mountain homes. If desired, we can also apply a more refined finish to the table to enhance its elegance.

The table, when fully extended, measures 210 cm (approximately 82.68 inches) in length, making it ideal for hosting family gatherings or dinner parties. It's worth mentioning that you can choose to not fully extend the table if you have fewer guests, allowing for versatility in your dining space.
