A Pair of 19th Century Louis XV Ormolu Gueridons with Unusual Siena Marble Tops and Conforming Undertiers all raised on three incurved legs with capitol eagle-heads (representing courage, strength, immortality and the messenger of the highest gods – these attributes made the eagle the key symbol of the glory and power of Ancient Rome) joined at the legs with tripartite stretchers centered by floral rosettes, and terminating in conforming eagle-claw feet, Available individually 4517-M00052
