A Three-Part Tortoiseshell and Mecca Gilt Coffee Table, its parts shaped at the top and conforming to each other (so that they can be used as three small side tables as well as one large coffee table), the antique English tortoiseshell top inlaid into a stellate pattern above a later C. Mariani Custom shaped neoclassical/transitional mecca giltwood base, and each raised on four fluted and tapering legs attached by hooped perimeter stretchers and terminating in lion paw feet
