Description
Belgian designer Ado Chale (b. 1928) is known for incorporating semi-precious stones into his work in a mosaic-like fashion; this affinity has earned him the nickname “alchemist of high minerals.”
This massive black resin coffee table features a thick rectangular top inlaid on the right side with a series of bubble-like circular turquoise tiles of various sizes, colors and textures.
The thick top rests on a base formed by two painted steel triangular “feet.”
The side of the table top features an applied brass signature. -
