French Mid-Century Bronzed Wrought Iron Console in Style of Giacometti
-
Description
An elegant and timeless French Mid-Century Modern hammered and bronzed wrought iron console / sofa table in the style of Alberto and Diego Giacometti for the French interior design Luminaire, Jean-Michel Frank. The stunning piece features a Minimalist presentation with it's pure, linear structure and the supporting legs united by a Neoclassical X form stretcher. The piece transcends this with it's dramatic, ancient, Etruscan style Hammer work highlighting the legs and feet. See photos 6 thru 12 for detail shots of the ironwork.
The piece supports an inset glass top. The glass lifts out of the table and a stone top can also be used. -
