Description
Rare, elegant French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical / Late Art Deco wrought iron and partially gilt gueridon / side or end table in the style of Giacometti. The presentation is in a tripod form with with an inset stone top. Surrounding the tripod is a rhythmic and poetic, gilt twisted wire garland. The top is Italian Travertine with rich, detailed veining in muted, neutral shades of greys, beiges, yellows and gold. A small masterpiece.
