This beautiful Aldo Tura desk was produced in Italy in the late 1960s, and really feels imposing and glamorous. The varnished goatskin parchment, in rich shades of brown and dark brown, makes this desk typical of designer Aldo Tura signature. It features a large top with four drawers with beautiful brass handles and keys, resting on two feet also in goatskin with brass base. Following the glamorous Italian Mid-century look of other classic Aldo Tura pieces, with the combination of brass and lacquered goatskin all around, this desk is a highly decorative piece, and exudes 1960s and 1970s lavish Italian flair. It has been fully restored and relacquered, and is found in an amazing condition. A rare find, and a true timeless Mid-Century Italian beauty.
