This exceptional and large Biedermeier walnut table was made in Austria circa 1825.

Austrian Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.

The piece is beautifully veneered in walnut and it stands on an eight-sided beautifully shaped base with ebonized ball feet.
The table top is veneered with beautiful and very rare types of veneers and accentuated by a deep amber tone of french polish finish and 200 years old patina.

The construction of the table is very solid and steady.
The piece is in very good condition.
