Description
Designed in 1951 by the collaborative team of André Renou & Jean Pierre Génisset, for Edition La Crémaillère, as part of a custom interior for the restaurant at hotel La Croiz du Sud in Dakar, Sénégal. The solid African Redwood top floats on an architectural bent and gilt flat-bar iron base.

Documentation: Ample Provenance Origin: France Period: 1950-1979 Materials: African Redwood Condition: Good. Good, lightly restored condition. Old varnish was removed from the wood, the old color retained. Wood was tung oiled. Flaking and rubbing to gilding, particularly along the edges.
