Description
George III mahogany tilt-top pedestal tea table with carved dish top supported by a birdcage mechanism which allows the top to turn. The turned central column features an unusual carved spiral ring turning and a carved orb. The whole raised on tripod cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The tilting top easily comes apart by removing the simple wedge.
