Pair of "Lovö" series side tables / consoles designed by Axel Einar Hjorth (1888-1959) and crafted to the highest standards of quality by the renowned Nordiska Kompaniet Workshop, this dynamic duo having rectangular tops blanced on four splayed and tapered legs bracketed by undulating braces, possibly inspired by those on traditional Chinese altar tables, featuring considered organic modeling throughout, executed in solid pines, Stockholm, Sweden, introduced in 1932.
